A group of troubled high-school students wearing balaclavas attack their homeroom teacher, Olja, in a dark garage and symbolically drench her in red paint because they believe she spreads communist propaganda. When Olja realises that her own students are responsible, she punishes them by locking them in the school overnight, without phones or any way to contact the outside world or escape. At first bored and confined to their familiar places in the high-school pecking order, they experience a series of unexpected events that change their outlook. Indifference and irony give way to empathy. They discover their humanity, get to know one another and grow closer than they have in the previous three years. Others cling even more firmly to their usual image.
